Ag fieldFood companies work with farmers on sustainability. Some of the largest food companies, including Walmart, Coca Cola, General Mills, and Unilever, are demanding more sustainable farming practices from their farming food suppliers.

For example, both Coca Cola and Unilever have set a target date of 2020 to procure 100% of its agricultural supplies from sustainable farms. General Mills has been providing increasing levels of funding to improve water and fertilizer use in farming.
