MGM Resorts has announced that it is joining the US Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Challenge, becoming the first company in the entertainment and gaming industry to join the program. So far this initiative has about 190 companies participating in the efforts to reduce energy consumption in their buildings. Also MGM Resorts recently announced it will install a solar energy array at the Mandalay Bay, making it the largest convention center PV array in the world.
